About Ash
Ash is an artist, mover, and change-maker.
With Los Angeles as home base, Ash has studied and shared in the domains of communication, connection, and embodiment in the US, Western Europe, Central America, Israel and Southeast Asia over the last 10+ years.
She is a course leader at Authentic Relating Training International (ART), the leading Authentic Relating (AR) organization in the world. She is also a certified coach through The Relateful Company.
Ash has created and shared workshops, trainings, and retreats internationally. She also brought the first Authentic Relating LVL 1 training to Guatemala, and initiated the AR community in the vibrant village of San Marcos, La Laguna.
In September of 2021, alongside Senior ART Facilitator Christopher Gray, Ash co-created and launched Shadow Academy: A Puzzle Piece for Wholeness, an online course designed to make the daunting task of shadow work more approachable and immediately integrative.
In May 2022, Ash co-founded ARCI Retreat, a first-of-its-kind experience weaving together the complimentary practices of Authentic Relating and Contact Improv, for a holistic and whole-self approach to expression, intimacy, and connection.
Presently, Ash is diving deep into the world of Somatics. She’s completed Embodied Transformation and Somatics, Trauma, and Resilience courses at The Strozzi Institute, and is currently in their rigorous Somatic Coaching training. She is also certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy through The Embody Lab.
Ash’s formal education in art (a BA with honors in Fine Art and a minor in Visual and Performing Art Education from UCLA) and former career in graphic design, initiated her passion for creation and are the backbone of her ability to design experiences with exquisite attention to detail.
Whether a one-off workshop or a weeklong retreat, each of her offerings are designed to break social programming, welcome more of ourselves, practice courageous vulnerability, expand our capacity for empathy, attune awareness of self and other, integrate our shadows, and embody our fullest expression—so that we can cultivate fulfilling, authentic, and meaningful connection.
